Kings Of Leon Concert Drama Continues After Dallas Show Is Cut Short

After dealing with angry (pooping) birds in St. Louisinjured arms, tour bus fires, and now after a show is cut short in Dallas, it seems that Kings of Leon have an uncanny knack (or maybe a looming curse) for concert and touring drama.

Last night in Dallas Caleb Followill went on an alleged drunken rant saying that the blazing Texas heat had gotten the best of him and that he was going to “go backstage and drink a beer, vomit and then return for three more songs.”

Well, that didn’t happen and his brother Jared returned to the stage to tell fans that he was sorry and that fans should not hate them but just Caleb.

Jerad Followill had this to say after the show via Twitter:

“Dallas, I cannot begin to tell you how sorry I am. There are internal sicknesses & problems that have needed to be addressed. No words.”

“I love our fans so much. I know you guys aren’t stupid. I can’t lie. There are problems in our band bigger than not drinking enough Gatorade.”

And in light of all the recent news we’ve shared about Amy Winehouse, Mike Todd of Coheed and Cambria and other alcohol and addiction struggles that artists have been wrestling with, I hope whatever Jared is referring to can be resolved soon.

And if it’s needed, I hope the Followill brothers can get the everyone the help they need before something the situation gets any worse.

Special thanks to concert fans and YouTuber Trodmac for posting the video.
