YMTE Live: A Super Mega Ultra-Fun Holiday Show!

Remember that cool Chicago podcast we told you about called You Me Them Everybody (YMTE)? Good. Cuz they’re at it again tonight. And they have a full line-up of live music, movies and fun holiday charity stuff going on at the Hungry Brain. Read on, if you know what’s good for you.

Okay, we’ll keep this short and sweet.

Brandon Wetherbee and his co-host Esmeralda Leon and their trusty music man Jeremy Tromburg are getting crazy tonight with a special holiday show at the Hungry Brain.

The show will feature stand up comic and writer Emerson Dameron and a special set of live music from Michael Pritchard (Otter Petter).

There Will Be Movies and Flicks Shot On Smart Phones

Following YMTE Live! will be the premier of “A Proud Tradition” featuring Ned Hepburn with narration by Emerson Dameron and music by Daniel Knox.

After the premier will be screenings of the shorts including: “Look at Things and Try New Drinks”, “Other Parts of a Gun,” the experimental piece (60 minutes shot and edited completely on a smart phone) “We’re all going to be very rich.” And music videos for Otter Petter, Black Math and more.

It’s Cold Out! Donate Your Coats!

We’re also told that you’re encouraged to bring coats you no longer need for a coat drive they’re doing to benefit local shelters.

It’s cold out there, man! So before you head out to the show,  pull out all those jackets that you don’t wear anymore and donate them to someone who needs them.

Here’s the rest of the info in a handy nutshell provided by the kind folks at YMTE.

Oh, and you should read this interview with host Brandon Wetherbee. It’s not in 3D, but it’s still very funny and it’ll give you a good idea of what you’re in for tonight.
