This weekend in Asheville, NC Moogfest 2010 is celebrating bands and musicians who have used Moog synthesizers to rock the stage and record iconic albums in the last 30 years. The Moogfest bill includes Devo, Octopus Project, MGMT and many more.
And to join in the Moogfest celebration, our sponsors Wolfgang’s Vault are featuring the work of Brian Ferry of Roxy Music on the WGV blog.

If you’re a baseball fan like me, then you’ll want to check out WGV’s World Series Playlist that’s full of Fall Classic-ready live tracks. There’s also some Halloween goodies lurking on the Public Playlist too. You can listen to one track above of Jimi Hendrix’s “Wild Thing,” that was the rousing theme song for Rick Vaughn in Major League, then get the rest of the lineup here.
