Yeasayer Live at Music Hall Of Williamsburg: Full Concert Video, Facebook Contest

Brooklyn-based psych-synth rock band Yeasayer just released a show from earlier this year via Baeblemusic.com. And they’ve got a Facebook contest going on so you can win some FREE Yeasayer swag and Odd Blood tunes.

I had the chance to see Yeasayer at Pitchfork 2009, but it was during the day and under the hot afternoon sun, which didn’t do them any justice or truly fit the mood of their music.

But this set from February at the Music Hall of Williamsburg captures the band in a proper setting, in a darkened venue teaming with intimacy and flowing with exotic rhythms and emotive grooves.

Their latest album Odd Blood has been on my list of favorite albums of 2010 since it was released earlier this year, and this full set gives you a great feel for how the band is transforming the tracks, morphing them in to new sonic experiences live and measuring up to Mannish Boy.
