For those in the New York City area looking for a stellar showing of live beats, rhymes and DJing, you’ll want to check out the 6th Annual Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival (BHF) that will be going on Monday July 5th through Saturday July 10th.

Yes, sadly, it’s only taking place in Brooklyn. But nonetheless for the lucky hip hop fans who can make it out, you’ll get the chance to take in DJ sets, classic hip hop movies and edu-taining music showcases featuring a solid line-up of old-school artists and new upcoming acts. It’s a mix that’s prime for creating a community of groove and maybe a few fans will grab the mic.
