Hip hop-folk funny guy Tim Fite always makes it really easy to tell you about his upcoming tours and new albums. And it took me about ten minutes to stop laughing after I read his latest newsletter in which he cleverly asks fans to help him make parole so he can tour.
I’ve interviewed Fite before and I always love passing along his hilarious newsletters, so here’s the latest laugher followed by tour dates and news about his upcoming new album that’s available for download this Spring.
Hello Patient People,
The parole board is going to let me leave the state!!! That’s right! You guessed it! I am hitting the road, and hopefully coming to your town! Sooooooooo, gather up your nearest and dearest, and come on out to see the Tim Fite Show! There will be many new songs, old favorites, a dog . . . and a pony . . . and a whole mess of I love you every night! The more people who come, the better my chances of convincing the parole board that I should return. I can’t wait to get this damn thing off my ankle . . . it itches!!!
See you soon,
TimP.S. my new new album UNDER THE TABLE TENNIS will be available for FREE on May 18, 2010! Don’t forget to log on to timfite.com that day and download it, so you are ready to sing along at the show!
