Can You Remember All Your Favorite Concerts?

I’ve got something fun for ya…
I played a very cool concert game that put my love for live music and my brain to the test.
One my friends Jen Cray sent me a live music game to play via a Facebook Note called “50 Concerts.” It was surprising how hard it was to follow her rules of  “just creating the list off the top of my head.”
But I’m proud to say that I did it (without looking at anything online!) and had tons of fun doing it.
It was amazing to travel back through all my concert experiences based solely off my active memory.  It was interesting how my brain and memory recalled each concert.
Sometimes I used the venue as a memory primer to remember the shows.
But other times I remembered the concert based solely on my emotional connection to the artist, their music and that particular concert, or even in some cases, the “emotional phase” I was in when I went to the concert.
In my mind it felt like I was staring at a massive wall of concert posters that represented my past experiences. But instead of the posters having the bands already on them.  These posters in my mind only appeared on the wall infront of me after I remembered the concert. From one to fifty, one by one, the memory wall of concert posters was filled like a huge quilt stitching together every concert experience I’ve had.  And the wall continues to grow…
Since this was so fascinating and fun to play, I’d love to know how it was for you as you recalled your “50 Concerts.”

Jen’s rules:
“OK, here are the rules. Test your memory and your love of live music by listing 50 artists or bands (or as many as you can remember) you’ve seen in concert. List the first 50 acts that come into your head. An act you saw at a festival and opening acts count, but only if you can’t think of 50 other artists.”
Have Fun!
