Chicago’s Q101 Manno show sent Rise Against frontman Tim Mcllrath to last Monday’s Metallica show to report back about his experience. In a short interview, Mcllrath gives insight into looking at a concert performance from an artist-admiring-another-artist perspective.
One of the things Mcllrath said was that he gets inspired and insight into what to do and not to do as a band when performing live.
This brings back a thought I had last year about the transformation from fan to artist and back again.
It seems as though Mcllrath went through this process and loved it.
