In the midst of the epiphany during the Chicago Bluegrass and Blues Festival we had the pleasure of discovering Chicago quartet The Shams Band. And tonight they’ll be rocking Lincoln Hall once again. Here’s the low-down.
As we’ve mentioned before, as one of Chicago’s best music venues, we’ve had lots of fun at Lincoln Hall in the past and it should be a real good time with The Shams Band headlining this Chicago Roots Collective Showcase One Year Anniversary along with Derek Nelson and the Musicians and Cole DeGenova & The Peoples Republic.
You can dive in to The Shams Band tunes via the Grape Juice Records Friends & Family II Compilation we shared last week, and you can get more concert details (8pm, 18+, tickets $8) here.
Have fun and enjoy the show, and, as always, be sure to let us know how your concert experience goes tonight and pass along your concert stories in the comments below!
