I have met some of the coolest people from new york, alabama, connecticut, south dakota, california, texas etc. i have met some of the best people, and some of my best friends because of that festival. it will be sourly missed. I will not attend any sort of rothbury homegrown festival put together at the last minute by a guy that runs a campground. if i want some local music there is always dunegrass and wheatland. i think this year my rothbury dollars are going to be used to go to all good, and a few smaller midwest fest. no matter how much fun i have this summer i will be crying on the inside for the lose of something too wonderful to continue. if there is a 2011 i will be standing at the gates the moment it opens. if there is a 2011 my friends i and will dance and cry out of pure joy. rothbury was my favorite music festival ever! with nearly thirty festivals under my belt (wheatland, lollapallozza, bonnaroo) this was the one place that had such an energy, positive vibe, and all encompassing love to it, that it is the highlight of my year.
